Staff members who reached milestone years of employment at KBS were recognized during the annual Family Fun Night held on June 20 at The Diamond. This year’s service awards presentation honored 15 employees with a combined total of 205 years of service to KBS. Considering that an average worker may change jobs several times during their career, we are truly fortunate to have so many dedicated long-term employees who contribute to the KBS’s success on a daily basis.
President Bill Paulette presented each recognized employee in attendance with a plaque and a gift. The service award recipients are:
Five years: Chris Smith and Marc Whittington
Ten years: Page Cutler, Juan Tejada, Merredith McMahon, Warren Rutledge and Janice Simpkins
Fifteen years: Sam Fisher and McMahon Croft
Twenty years: Laurie Germano and Odir Comayagua
Twenty-five: Mark Thomas
Thirty years: Jack Hughes, George Cramp and Alex Coleman
Along with the service awards presentation, more than 200 KBS staff and their families enjoyed a cookout, games, gift basket raffles and watching the Richmond Flying Squirrels take on the Hartford Yard Goats. Please join us in congratulating and thanking all of this year’s service award recipients for their dedication to KBS.
