Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital Bi-Plane Replacement

The Bi-Plane Replacement project for Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital involved the renovation of an existing space to house a new Artis Zee Bi-Plane unit, used for interventional radiology/cardiovascular imaging. The project consisted of lead-lined walls, a structural system installed in the ceiling to support the unit, and new Liebert HVAC units. KBS ensured that extra close attention to detail and coordination were executed in order to avoid disruption and infectious control breaches. Infection control was critical on this project, as it is with all hospital projects.  The Bi-Plane projects was located adjacent to patient holding and surgery discharge areas, making it more challenging for the project team.
